Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 These are revelations of the wise Scripture, 2 As guidance and mercy for the doers of good 3 Who establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith]. 4 Those are upon guidance from their Lord; those are the prosperers. 5 There are some human beings who purchase an enchanting diversion in order to lead people away from the way of Allah without having any knowledge, who hold the call to the Way of Allah to ridicule. A humiliating chastisement awaits them. 6 When Our revelations are recited to them, they turn back on their heels out of pride as if they did not hear them or their ears had been sealed off. Warn them of the painful torment. 7 Verily, those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, for them are Gardens of delight (Paradise). 8 where they shall live for ever. The promise of Allah is the truth; He is the Almighty, the Wise. 9 He has created the heavens without any pillars, that you see and has set on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein. 10 Such is the Creation of Allah: now show Me what is there that others besides Him have created: nay, but the Transgressors are in manifest error. 11
