۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 And detain them, for they will be questioned." 24 "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?" 25 But they, that Day, are in surrender. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. 30 "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). 31 And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Surely thus do We deal with the guilty. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 40 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise). 41 fruits of various kinds; and they shall be honoured, 42 In gardens of pleasure, 43 upon couches, set face to face, 44 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache. 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth? 52 ‘That when we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, that we will either be rewarded or punished?’ 53 Then he will say, "Shall we look for him?" 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 Indeed, this is the mighty victory, 60 For the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell. 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 Then most surely they shall have after it to drink of a mixture prepared in boiling water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 But they make haste (to follow) in their footsteps. 70 And assuredly many of the ancients went astray before them, 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 and behold, how was the end of them that were warned, 73 EXCEPT for God's true servants, [most people are apt to go astray.] 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
