Ghaafer 9 of 9
Allah it is Who has made cattle for you so that you ride some of them and from some of them you derive food. 79 There are advantages for you in them, so that you may satisfy your needs through them, and may be borne upon them and on ships. 80 Allah shows His Signs to you; then which of Allah's Signs will you deny? 81 Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those before them? They were more numerous than these, and mightier in power and (in the) traces (which they left behind them) in the earth. But all that they used to earn availed them not. 82 And when their messengers brought them clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) they exulted in the knowledge they (themselves) possessed. And that which they were wont to mock befell them. 83 Then, when they saw Our doom, they said: We believe in Allah only and reject (all) that we used to associate (with Him). 84 So their accepting of faith did not benefit them when they saw Our punishment; the tradition of Allah which has passed among His bondmen; and there were the disbelievers ruined. 85
