Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds that scatter the dust, 1 and those that bear the burden [of the rain], 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 Verily, [O men,] you are deeply at variance as to what to believe: 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 [It will be] a Day when they will be sorely tried by the fire, 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 They were in the habit of sleeping but little by night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 And also in your own selves. Behold ye not? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
