Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
