Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
