And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
