Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
