۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
