▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
