The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
