And when the envoys came to the family of Lot, 61 He said: Lo! ye are folk unknown (to me). 62 They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. 63 “And we have brought to you a true command, and indeed we are truthful.” 64 "So leave with your family late in the night, yourself remaining in the rear, and let none turn back to look, and go where you will be commanded." 65 We informed him that the unbelievers would be utterly destroyed. 66 And the people of the city came, rejoicing at the news (of new arrivals). 67 He said: "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 And fear Allah, and humiliate me not. 69 They said, 'Have we not forbidden thee all beings?' 70 "Here are my daughters," said Lot, "if you are so active." 71 By your life O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they are indeed straying in their intoxication. 72 But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, 73 and We turned those [sinful towns] upside down, and rained down upon them stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained. 74 Surely in that are signs for such as mark; 75 And verily! They (the cities) were right on the highroad (from Makkah to Syria i.e. the place where the Dead Sea is now). 76 Behold! in this is a sign for those who believed. 77 Certainly the dwellers in the Thicket were evildoers, 78 So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
