Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
