Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
