And they ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast. 105 and leave them a desolate waste, 106 wherein thou wilt see no crookedness neither any curving.' 107 That Day they shall follow the caller for whom there shall be no crookedness; and voices shall be humbled for the Compassionate; so that thou shalt not hear ought except pattering 108 On that day no intercession availeth save (that of) him unto whom the Beneficent hath given leave and whose word He accepteth. 109 He knoweth (all) that is before them and (all) that is behind them, while they cannot compass it in knowledge. 110 ۞ And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing; 111 but whosoever does righteous works, being a believer, shall have no fear of suffering wrong or loss." 112 Thus we have revealed it as a Lecture in Arabic, and have displayed therein certain threats, that peradventure they may keep from evil or that it may cause them to take heed. 113 So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge." 114 AND, INDEED, long ago did We impose Our commandment on Adam; but he forgot it, and We found no firmness of purpose in him. 115
