THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
