Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. CONSIDER this sublime Qur'an! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered spathes; 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
