But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
