The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
