Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves [i.e., the angels, Allah's Messengers, 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), etc.] as Auliya' (lords, gods, protectors, etc.) besides Me? Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism). 102 Say, [O Muhammad], "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds? 103 "Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds! 104 Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance. 105 That will be their recompense - [their] hell - for having denied the truth and made My messages and My apostles a target of their mockery. 106 As for those who believe and do good works, the Gardens of Paradise shall be there to welcome them; 107 therein to dwell forever, desiring no removal out of them.' 108 Tell them, "If the ocean became ink for writing the words of my Lord, surely the ocean would be exhausted before the words of my Lord came to an end -- even if We were to add another ocean to it." 109 Say, "I am only a human being like yourselves. It is revealed to me that your God is One God. So let him who hopes to meet his Lord do good deeds and let him associate no one else in the worship of his Lord." 110
