The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
