Whomsoever We grant a long life, We reverse him in his constitution. Do they still not understand? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran, 69 that he may warn whosoever is living, and that the Word may be realized against the unbelievers. 70 See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?- 71 We have made the cattle subservient to them so they ride and consume them. 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 Yet they have taken, apart from God, gods; haply they might be helped. 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 And he has struck for Us a parable, and forgotten his own creation. He asks: 'Who will quicken the bones after they have decayed' 78 Say thou: He shall quicken them Who brought them forth for the first time, and He is of every kind of creation the Knower! 79 “The One Who has created for you fire from the green tree, so you kindle from it.” 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator, 81 His affair, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: be, and it becometh. 82 All glory belongs to the One in whose hands is the control of all things. To Him you will all return. 83
