Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by that which ye see. 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
