In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 for an appointed term? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
