The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And by the Day promised, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 by a burning fire 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
