The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
