And when thy Lord called Moses, saying: Go unto the wrongdoing folk, 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me; 12 and then my breast will be straitened and my tongue will not be free: send, then, [this Thy command] to Aaron. 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 "And you did your deed, which you did (i.e. the crime of killing a man). And you are one of the ingrates." 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And this is the favour with which you taunt me -- that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?" 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 Said Firaun, “If you ascribe any one else as a God other than me, I will surely imprison you.” 29 He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest? 30 He (Pharaoh) replied: 'Show us your sign, if you are of the truthful' 31 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! 32 and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
