Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 What! When we are dead and reduced to mere dust, (shall we be raised to life)? Such a return is far-fetched.” 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
