The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
