The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
