The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the sun and its radiant brightness, 1 And by oath of the moon when it follows the sun 2 by the day, when it displays it, 3 And [by] the night when it covers it 4 By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure; 5 by the earth and that (Power) which spread it out 6 The soul and how it was integrated 7 Then He inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it; 8 Indeed successful is the one who made it pure. 9 and he who corrupts it is sure to fail. 10 Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression, 11 when the most wicked of them broke forth, 12 Then Allah's Messenger warned them: “Hands off the she-camel and her drink!” 13 But they cried him lies, and hamstrung her, so their Lord crushed them for their sin, and leveled them: 14 He has no fear of its sequel. 15
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Sun (Al-Shams). Sent down in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
