The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 King of the Day of Judgement. 4 You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). 5 Show us the straight path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
