O Ye who believe! seek help in patience and prayer; verily Allah is with the patient. 153 Do not say that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead, they are alive, although you are unaware. 154 And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, 155 Those who say when calamity befalls them, “Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed it is to Him we are to return.” 156 upon those rest blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those -- they are the truly guided. 157 ۞ Verily! As-Safa and Al-Marwah (two mountains in Makkah) are of the Symbols of Allah. So it is not a sin on him who perform Hajj or 'Umrah (pilgrimage) of the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) to perform the going (Tawaf) between them (As-Safa and Al-Marwah). And whoever does good voluntarily, then verily, Allah is All-Recogniser, All-Knower. 158 Indeed Allah curses, and the cursers, too, curse those who conceal the clear teachings and guidance We have sent down, after We have made these plain in the Book for the guidance of all mankind. 159 Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth), these it is to whom I turn (mercifully); and I am the Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful. 160 Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allah and of the angels and the people, all together, 161 Their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be reprieved. 162 Your God is one God; there is no god other than He, the compassionate, ever-merciful. 163
