And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the hereafter a lie, and whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world's life, said: This is nothing but a mortal like yourselves, eating of what you eat from and drinking of what you drink. 33 and, indeed, if you pay heed to a mortal like yourselves, you will surely be the losers! 34 “Does he promise you that when you die and turn into dust and bones, you will be raised again?” 35 ۞ Far-fetched, utterly far-fetched is what you are being promised. 36 There is no other life than the life of the world. We shall live here and here shall we die; and we are not going to be raised again. 37 He is nothing but a man who has forged against Allah a lie, we will never believe him' 38 He said: my Lord! vindicate for they belie me. 39 God replied, "After a very short time they will certainly regret for their deeds." 40 And the Cry seized them justly, and We made them as scum; so away with the people of the evildoers! 41 After them We produced other generations 42 No nation can anticipate their term, nor can they delay it. 43 Then We sent Our Messengers in succession, every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another (to destruction), and We made them as Ahadith (the true stories for mankind to learn a lesson from them). So away with a people who believe not. 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a manifest authority 45 to Pharaoh and to his chiefs, but they behaved superciliously and they were haughty. 46 They said: "Shall we believe in two men like ourselves? And their people are subject to us!" 47 So they rejected them both, and became those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might be guided. 49 and We made Mary's son, and his mother, to be a sign, and gave them refuge upon a height, where was a hollow and a spring: 50
