The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
