3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 Why do you not speak?" 92 And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 They said: build for him a building and cast him into the flaming fire. 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
