The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
