The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
