T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). 3 it is a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens, 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 Lo! he saw a fire [in the desert]; and so he said to his family: "Wait here! Behold, I perceive a fire [far away]: perhaps I can bring you a brand there from, or find at the fire some guidance." 10 When he came close to it, a voice called out, "Moses, 11 I Am your Lord. Take off your shoes; you are in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives: 15 Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish. 16 The Lord asked, "Moses, what is in your right hand?" 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he cast it down; and lo! it was a serpent running. 20 "Catch it," said He, "and have no fear; We shall revert it to its former state. 21 "Now place thy hand within thy armpit: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish, as another sign [of Our grace,] 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has transgressed all bounds." 24
