۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
