Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
