The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
