The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
