The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
God the Almighty always says the truth.
