The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
