The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 So fear Him Who created you and the former generations. 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 for thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! And behold, we think that thou art a consummate liar! 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 Then they belied him; wherefore there laid hold of them the torment of day of shadow. Verily it was the torment of a Mighty Day. 189 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191
