The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
