The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 By the Promised Day! 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
