Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
