And indeed We settled the Children of Israel in an honourable dwelling place (Sham and Misr), and provided them with good things, and they differed not until the knowledge came to them. Verily, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection in that in which they used to differ. 93 If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt. 94 Nor be of those who reject the signs of Allah, or thou shalt be of those who perish. 95 Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has proved true will not believe, 96 Even though all the signs came to them, not till they face the grievous punishment. 97 Why did no one except the people of Jonah believe (in their punishment before their death) so that they could have benefitted from their faith? When the people of Jonah believed, We saved them from a disgraceful torment in this life and provided them with the means of enjoyment for an appointed time. 98 And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad SAW) then compel mankind, until they become believers. 99 It is not for any soul to believe save by the permission of Allah. He hath set uncleanness upon those who have no sense. 100 (Muhammad), tell them to consider that which is in the heavens and the earth. Evidence and warnings are of no avail to the disbelieving people. 101 What can they expect other than the kind of (punishment that befell the disbelieving people) who had gone before them? (Muhammad), tell them, "Wait and I too will be waiting with you." 102 In the end We deliver Our messengers and those who believe: Thus is it fitting on Our part that We should deliver those who believe! 103
